Acceptance of Terms

By accessing our website, placing an order or requesting our services, you agree to these Terms & Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our website or engage our services.

Our Products & Services

D.Gooch makes and supplies bespoke timber sheds, garden rooms, fencing, gates, pergolas, Trex composite decking, cladding and related materials from The Woodyard in Norwich. Products are available supply only, or supplied and fitted across Norwich and Norfolk. The scope of any order or installation is defined in the written quote or agreement we provide to you.

Quotes & Pricing

Quotes are based on the information available at the time, including measurements, site conditions and current material costs. Prices shown on our website are a guide and include VAT unless stated otherwise. Final pricing may change if the scope of work, site conditions or material costs differ from what was quoted. Where a site visit is needed we will confirm a fixed price afterwards, and we will communicate any changes before proceeding.

Delivery, Installation & Site Access

Installation work depends on weather, ground conditions and site readiness. You agree to provide safe, clear access to the work area, to ensure any base or ground is prepared as agreed, and to tell us about underground services or boundary issues you are aware of. We may reschedule work due to weather or conditions that affect quality or safety. Delivery dates are estimates and may change.

Payment Terms

Unless otherwise agreed in writing, a deposit is required to confirm made-to-order products and the balance is due on completion of delivery or installation. Supply-only purchases are paid in full before or on collection or delivery. Late payments may be subject to reasonable charges.

• Accepted payment methods and any deposit requirements are stated in your quote.

• Additional work outside the agreed scope will be quoted separately before it begins.

Guarantees & Warranties

We stand behind our workmanship and the materials we use. Any guarantee on products, timber treatment, Trex boards or installation is described in your written quote or in the manufacturer’s warranty. Guarantees do not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, ground movement, extreme weather or normal wear and tear. Timber is a natural material and may move, crack or change colour over time, which is not a defect. Your statutory rights are not affected.

Cancellations, Returns & Delays

Made-to-order products are built to your specification, so once manufacturing has started a cancellation may be subject to a charge covering materials and labour. If you need to cancel or reschedule, please tell us as early as possible. Any rights you have to cancel under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 are unaffected. We are not liable for delays caused by weather, supply shortages or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, D.Gooch is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from the use of our website, products or services. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount paid for the products or services in question. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including text, images, logos and graphics, is the property of D.Gooch and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and any dispute will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of our website or services means you accept the updated terms.
